I am extremely grateful to share that we were able to secure better pricing on our flax linen supply for the Hans Linen Hoodie.
In order to create this clothing brand, and to create the hoodie, I have dedicated tens of thousands of dollars, and over 1 year of hands-on supply chain research. As soon as we had our fabric supplier and manufacturing partners set, we opened up pre-sales for the hoodie and secured part of that investment back.
We purchased our linen fabrics for the first production run just before peak demand, but this had a negative impact on our purchase price for materials.
However, we allocated about 50% of the revenue generated from the pre-sale to take early advantage of discounted pricing after the 2025 linen harvest. Which has allowed us to secure a significantly more favorable pricing on our materials. The savings are now passed through to our patrons, a gift that we are extremely grateful to offer so early.
This would not be possible without the early support of our very first patrons.
With the more affordable material cost, and the revenues were able to generate from hoodie sales, we've also been allowed the opportunity to create additional garment types. Which I am extremely eager to share with the world.
We are currently working on shorts, pants, a scarf that could double as a hijab, and early designs for feminine dresses.
